JOIN THE USS LEXINGTON CV 16 ASSOCIATION: The
USS Lexington CV 16 Association was organized in 1978 to provide an organization for
shipmates (including Air Groups) of all USS Lexington hull designations, i.e. CV, CVA,
CVS, CVT and AVT to continue old, and develop new, friendships. An annual reunion is
held each year to provide a place for shipmates and their families to gather and have a
good time. A ships letter is published three or four time each year, providing
articles of interest to the membership. Donations are made to various organizations;
primary recipients are the USS Lexington Museum on the Bay and the U.S. Navy
Memorial. Additional, a scholarship is award each year to a deserving high school
senior. Association Dues are $15.00 annually; World War II veterans are Lifetime
members after the initial year’s dues. To join complete, and submit the
attached form; and send a $15.00 check payable to the USS Lexington CV 16 Association
